New Amsterdam recently released these flavored vodkas, which is pretty neat, I suppose. If you’re into flavored vodka, it’s good news. I’m not crazy about them, but if it’s there, I’ll drink it. As you can see, I drank this one before taking the picture, but don’t worry, it was regulation vodka-clear. I usually shop for TDB and personal use separately, but occasionally, the two paths will cross and I’ll end up buying something for business and pleasure (if you can call buying Four Loko “business”). Peach New Am was one of those, and as such, it didn’t make it to the picture-taking process until after I’d tasted and reviewed it. I’m thinking about cleaning my picture-toaster, because it’s getting a little dirty.

Color
We’ve been over this.
Nose
A nice, subtle peach smell, with a little vodka underneath. Very pleasant.
Taste
It wasn’t too great by itself, but the 70 proof makes a world of difference when taking shots. Goes down like water. In a mixed drink, the peach lends a nice flavor to whatever you’re mixing it with.
Final Verdict
I’d say this is pretty tasty. 4 out of a possible 5. Not bad at all! New Amsterdam products have a pretty great average on TDB.
