Should Mitt Romney release more tax returns?
Today’s Dilemma: This one is pretty self explanatory. Should he?
Alex: There’s no rule that says he has to, but the only reason he wouldn’t is that he has something to hide. It is kind of ironic that Mitt Romney will be the first presidential candidate to not release full tax returns since his father George Romney started the tradition in the 60′s.
Matt: This one absolutely kills me. So he’s supposed to release his tax returns, which may or may not reveal he has a swiss bank account or two, just so the media can have an absolute field day discussing one individual’s finances rather than this nation’s economic fallout. MSNBC and CNN are always looking for an excuse to switch off any bad-news-Obama material, and Mitt Romney is too smart to hand it over. Were this country’s media actually responsible, then it wouldn’t be such an issue. For once, I agree with Trump. Romney should release his tax returns when Obama releases his college transcript. But, he won’t do that. He can’t let the world see that he took classes like, “The Unjust Death of the Proletariat” or “Taking Back What’s Ours.” And that he probably got C’s, yet somehow made it to Harvard.
