The Triumphant Return of Current Ground
At some point two or three months ago, 90% of this site’s staff began the grueling and terrifying process known as “graduation.” We knew it was coming, but that didn’t stop reality from smacking the collective shit out of us in early May. Graduation is supposed to be a fun & celebratory period where we feel good about ourselves and party and forget all the crap we learned over the last four years, one last bit of shelter before facing the real world. Of course, there’s plenty of that, but there’s a lot of stress, and damnit, it’s a really weird time: the slow realization that you’ll never see half of these people ever again, the emotion associated with the end of what’s supposedly the best part of life, and of course, getting a job. I don’t want to sound like a whiny punk, but if nothing else, graduation is time-consuming. Sadly, Current Ground had to take a break while we finished up the rest of our lives. I apologize for dropping off the face of the earth, but sometimes, it’s the only way. If you’re still reading us, thank you, and don’t worry, we’re back for good.
Hugs & Kisses,
Current Ground
